March news

We made great progress on site clearance this month, with the expert help of JLW Solutions. From an area covered with waste and strewn debris, John and his team have converted two areas of the site into clear areas, as well as reinstating a road! This great progress will enable us in the weeks ahead to progress with more investigatory works, providing  a clearer picture of this area of the site, and the remediation requirements that we will have to undertake.

Our project manager, Bryan, expertly assisted by our waste and resource expert, Paul Dumble, have been working hard to finalise the remaining steps of the remediation process, with us now entering the secondary stages of the tendering process for this important work.

Looking ahead, we will be working closely with Stantec in the next few months to agree a detailed programme of works, crafted to achieve a planning in principle for the remainder of the site. This  vital step will enable our current tenants and any new clients to understand the detailed specifications of the project and buildings from a planning point of view. As with the wider group, the current climate has made progress trickier – especially in the outdoor elements, however the team are now working safely from home to forge ahead with the planning and tendering phases – and we will work to continue to update as we move ahead.
